La Marcha

La Marcha is a story of rhythm, collective spirit, and musical flavors.

It all starts with a well-guarded recipe: thirteen musicians, thirteen carefully selected ingredients, taken out of the fridge just in time and arranged by section on a stage large enough to contain their energy. Each brings their own color, texture, and temperament, all in service of a shared project where salsa reigns supreme.

In La Marcha’s pot, you’ll find topical themes finely spiced, a proudly "old-school" salsa inherited from the great Latin orchestras, a generous dose of humor, and a rich bouquet of rhythms from the Caribbean. Their son montuno, mambo, guaguancó, chachachá, and Afro-Caribbean influences intertwine to create music that is alive, accessible, and deeply danceable.

The group lets this mixture simmer from concert to concert. Over low heat but with precision, the aromas spread, the groove settles in, and the camaraderie among the musicians grows. The rhythm section becomes tight and powerful, the brass sharp and precise, the choruses unifying, while the voices tell stories of the world with lightness, irony, and sincerity.

Little by little, La Marcha crafts a sound that is homogeneous and recognizable from the first notes.

On stage, La Marcha is a true people’s orchestra—generous and infectious. The collective energy spreads to the audience, inviting them to dance, smile, and be carried away by a salsa that is both festive and thoughtful. The lyrics, often inspired by everyday life and current events, strike a balance between commitment and self-deprecation, never losing sight of the essential: the joy of shared music.

Faithful to the artisanal spirit of salsa, La Marcha champions original, homemade compositions, 100% GMO-free. Here, there are no industrial recipes or standardized formats, but rather a collective effort nourished by stage experience, mutual listening, and a love for Afro-Caribbean music.

Each concert is a new simmer, each audience a new tasting. The result? La Marcha—a high-energy, authentic, and warm salsa combo that bridges tradition and modernity with contagious energy. Music to be savored live, in motion, and always… served ice-cold.
